Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico reveal that they’re married! The newlyweds became engaged during Argentina’s Independence Day celebration.
“I decided to go on my own and I took my ring as a ring that I always keep around my neck,” said the former Miss Puerto Rico, during an interview with The Insider.
“I just felt that if I lost the ring, maybe I wouldn’t go through with it. And that when people saw it on me, there would be a lot of questions. Even though he didn’t tell everybody, I knew there was a big ring on my hand,” added the new Miss Argentina.
On Monday, the young couple went out for dinner and to shop for a home. Their marriage is said to be simple and intimate.
“I want a family with children, I want a home that we can live in and I want our love to be perfect like never been before. I wanted it from the first time I saw him,” she said.
“I decided to put all the things aside and the rest is in God’s hands. I feel so blessed that the heavens have smiled down on us to bring this happiness. I want to thank God that He had given me a man called Jorge for me. My friends say that I’m in love. I love him and I will love him for the rest of my life.”
“Jorge is truly the man I’ve been waiting all these years for. He is a very special man. He is very caring, he is a father and provider and I can’t express how grateful I am to have met such a loving man.”
Argentina’s current Miss is a former Miss World and the niece of former Argentine President and ex-Prime Minister Nestor Kirchner.
